SIP Intercom station series 50

The puristic Series 50 SIP intercom stations represent an attractive product line for entrance design in upscale business environments. The individual modules are made of horizontally brushed stainless steel and are combined without a front frame. In visual contrast, the upper and lower edges are polished and form an elegant finish to the call station. The concealed screws and flush-fitting buttons support the elegance and clear structure of the design line.

All the device elements like speaker, microphone, keypad and call buttons as well as the electronics unit are completely assembled in in a two-piece housing. The modular design enables utmost flexibility for planning and implementation.

Calls are connected via Voice over IP (VoIP) using the SIP standard inside the connected Ethernet LAN, by means of a telephone system featuring either SIP, an SIP provider or via direct dialling of an IP address. A simple web browser is used to implement device configuration and software updates, power is supplied via the Ethernet (PoE). It is possible to connect external call buttons to the intercom stations, and they feature freely configurable switching outputs to open the door, show the incoming call or provide additional switching functions. Extension modules enable a retrofitting of additional features, e.g. a 4-row display with a telephone book function or up to 100 direct call buttons.

System requirements

Please note the following minimum system requirements when installing a Behnke SIP door intercom station:

• PC or Apple® Mac® with browser (e.g. Microsoft ® Internet Explorer®, Mozilla Firefox®, Apple® Safari®)
• Monitor/graphics with a resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels and true colour display
• Set-up network connection
• A free Ethernet port with PoE or a separate PoE injector.

SIP Account, SIP server or a remote station to directly accept SIP connections.
